GENERAL
Q: Why are you offering sports bra fittings at our school?
A: Sports bras are an essential part of PE kit, just like trainers. Proper breast support helps improve comfort, confidence and performance in sport, and reduces breast movement and discomfort. Our goal is to make it easy for every girl to access expert advice and find the right fit.
Q: Is this compulsory?
A: No, participation in fittings is optional. However, if booked by your school, all students will be invited to attend a short, educational workshop as part of the school’s wellbeing curriculum to help them understand why a well-fitting sports bra is important.
Q: Who is boobydoo?
A: boobydoo is the UK’s leading sports bra expert, trusted by elite athletes, schools, and sports organisations. Their team of trained fitters specialise in helping women and girls of all ages find the right support for sport and movement.
IN-PERSON FITTINGS
Q: Who carries out the fittings?
A: All fittings are conducted by boobydoo’s fully trained, female fitters who are DBS checked, experienced in working with young people, and committed to delivering a professional, respectful experience.
Q: Can I attend my child’s fitting?
A: Yes, parents are welcome to chaperone their child’s appointment if they wish.
Q: Will my child be required to undress in front of someone?
A: No. Students will not be required to undress in front of anyone during their fitting. Each student will have access to a private changing room where they can change into the sports bra comfortably and at their own pace.
We do recommend that the sports bra is put on properly so that our fitting team can check the fit visually, as this allows them to provide the most accurate and supportive advice. This will always be done respectfully and with the student’s consent.
If a student prefers not to have a visual fit check, the fitter will instead guide them through how to check the fit themselves, using clear, professional language and gestures.
Every fitting is carried out in a private space, with school welfare staff on site throughout the day, ensuring the experience is discreet, respectful, and comfortable for every student.
Q: How long is the appointment?
A: Appointments are 15 minutes long and include time for advice, trying on styles, and recording sizing and product preferences.
Q: What if my child needs more time?
A: We will always accommodate where possible. You can also book a free virtual fitting for further support.
Q: What do I need to do before the appointment?
A: You must create a parent account via the link provided by your school, sign the consent form, and book a time slot for your child. You can also pre-approve a purchase, if you’d like.
VIRTUAL FITTINGS
Q: How does a virtual fitting work?
A: A virtual fitting is a private 20-minute video call with one of boobydoo’s expert fitters. They’ll talk through sizing, current fit, product preferences, and any questions you or your child may have. No need to be on camera in just a bra — your child can wear a T-shirt over a well-fitting bra.
Q: Can both parent and child join the call?
A: Yes — in fact, we recommend it. Our fitters will always include both parent and child in the conversation to ensure comfort and clarity.
Q: What do we need to prepare?
A: Please have a soft tape measure handy and make sure your child is wearing their best-fitting everyday bra if applicable and a T-shirt. A quiet, private space is ideal.
Q: What happens after the call?
A: You’ll receive a secure order link via email with the fitter’s recommendations. You can complete your purchase online, with delivery to your home or school.

Q: How do I buy the recommended bra?
A: After the fitting (in-person or virtual), a secure payment link will be sent to you by email with the recommended product(s) pre-loaded. You can complete checkout using a range of payment options.
Q: How much do the bras cost?
A: All recommended sports bras are £44.50. You also receive an exclusive 25% off when purchasing two or more.
Q: How will my order be delivered?
A: You can choose delivery to your home or to school at checkout. Most orders arrive within a few working days.
Q: What if the bra doesn’t fit?
A: boobydoo offers free returns and exchanges. If the fit isn’t quite right, we’ll help you find a better size or style. The portal also includes tools to guide you in checking the fit at home.
Q: Are there other ways to buy?
A: Yes! If you prefer, you can order directly through the self-serve portal at any time. It includes videos, fit guides and resources to recommended styles. Offers and discounts apply to portal orders too.
